Asking help from the invisible – impossible?

It’s just a musing today. Today being the 7 July 2011 or 7:7:11.

I’m interested in numbers – not as a mathematician. I am HOPELESS with math. No, I like the way they look and whether they seem to me to hold some other significance.
I love that Hebrew letters and numbers are inter-related – I think it’s called “gematria”.
The idea of clues in one ‘thing’ leading to answers in another inspires me.

So, I idly typed “7:7:11” into my search engine. And I was so surprised with the first answer, from: http://biblegateway.com, that I want to share it with you.

“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door
will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds;
and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.”

It made me take a moment to review just how many things I had asked for in my life that I had received. And they are the ones that I asked for from a place of deep desire – so deep, it feels as though I already have that thing – it’s a part of me. No doubt.

I seem to remember the words,

“Don’t supplicate, appreciate” in relation to this phenomenon. Feel it, appreciate it, wait for it . . . with trust – and let it be so.

Just a thought.

Hi, this is so very true, evan down to the things u don’t want in life. Love an light and God bless x

    • You’re so right! I didn’t mention that some of the things I got were ones I later wished I hadn’t . . . all part of the learning! Love and Light to you. x

  • Lovely Deborah. I’m knocking. Thank you.

    • Don’t hurt your knuckles. He/She’s heard you . . . . I feel we just need to enjoy the wait now!! Much love Debs

  • Debs, you are a beautiful person in thought, spirit, and the way you look. Especially your smile that seems to say come and be in a peaceful place with me even for a moment.
I belive what you say is true and though it may take time to receive what you desire down deep inside it surely is worth the wait. Once you find what you seek I believe you must be loyal and true and it will belong to you forever.

    Sam

    • Dear, dear Sam, I appreciate your lovely, heartfelt words. Thank you so much for taking a moment to be
here with me. Surely, it IS worth the wait and if we wait in faith, and act from our highest consciousness, then
we have done all we can. Keep smiling. Debs
