Spring Equinox 2011 – stay focussed and keep growing.

Meditation for Spring Equinox 2011. 20/21 March 2011

Today, perhaps more than at any time in history, we must do the best we can with what is presented to us. Every little thing we do for one, we do for all. Instead of feeling overwhelmed by the world’s ‘problems’ choose to feel trusted by the way the world brings you practice steps. It’s all part of the dance.

In just a few words, Gandhi calls us to action by pointing out that we are simply not activating enough of our own abilities or greatness.

He said,

“The difference between what we do and what we are capable of doing
would suffice to solve most of the world’s problems.”

With love

  • I think you are right. Often, we try to do far too much buy trying to create something new and different. In fact, all that we need and have is with us anyway. We just have to tap into it more effectively.

    • Thanks Joe. I agree. It’s as though we get too ‘scattered’ when we try too hard and then our energy can’t be maintained in a directed way. I know if can feel counter-intuitive, not ‘buying in’ to fear and it’s certainly a tricky balance to conduct our lives so that we and others can be healthy and productive. As you say, what we need is, paradoxically, “with us anyway” so the less we send out shoots of anxiety to the outside world and the more we tap into the depths of ourselves, the more we can be of service even in our own ‘small’ way. As a teacher of mine says, “If I am crippled, who can I help?”.

  • Great article, I would love to have a quarter of your knowledge. Please keep your posts coming.

    • Hi and thanks for your generous post. I will keep these posts coming – it’s what I love to do. Sharing what we know to help each other is fundamental to a sustainable world, I believe. There are other things that we need to do too, but
sharing is at the heart of it all.

  • I agree sharing is what keeps the internet going and helps people find the info they are after. Writing good stuff will keep people coming back for more, i also agree with Joe, got it spot on.
